House Inspections
Pre-Purchase & Sale

You won’t get a report detailing how many door knobs were missing or blinds that were faulty. But you will get a thorough report confirming as to the soundness and integrity of the building so that you are armed with information to make an intelligent decision re your purchase.

If you are the home owner, we will provide you with a report (either verbal or written as requested) that will enable you to make relevant decisions, such as completing suggested remedial works prior to listing your home or assisting you to make an informed decision as to any foreseeable issues that may affect the sale price. Once again, your home is your single largest investment, so you want to capitalise on it’s value and you do not want any surprises should you decide to list your home for sale.

Weathertightness
Specialist

Robert has been actively involved in the weathertightness industry for over 12 years. He has extensive knowledge as to all aspects of this industry. He has re-clad many homes for clients and within his own construction company. One area of expertise is budgets and in particular “an honest and realistic expectation as to the costs involved in leaky home repairs and re-clads”.

If you find yourself in this situation there really is no one better to discuss ‘where to go to from here’ with up-front honest and independent advice. In some situations a home owner is just not equipped personally or financially to cope with these works and Robert can discuss the pros and cons of either re-building or selling up.

Independent
Building Advice

Having worked for architects, clients and within his own construction company, Robert is well versed in ‘seeing the wood through the trees’.

Often a client just needs someone independent to discuss matters such as plans, budgets, time frame etc. This is particularly beneficial prior to engaging an architect or builder to ensure and be confident that your brief and expectations are realistic and can be met. You may just be thinking about ‘could this be done’ or ‘ what would it cost’, Robert can steer you in the right direction – quick and efficiently.

Code of Compliance
Solutions & Troubleshooting

The building industry is fraught with litigation. In particular if listing your home or purchasing a home, you need to know if all aspects of the building are covered with a CCC.

Once a House Inspection is completed, and it is identified that some areas may not be legal and therefore do not have CCC, Robert is able to advise you and/or direct you to the relevant trades to complete this work for you.

Management
